Come here when you are feeling lonely, need a smile, or want to feel a spark of hope…a hope for love and kindness in this world that we share together. There are so many wonderful and positive people and events that are happening all around us that show the kindness and love that we share with each other and give us hope for the future.

If you have come to this blog from a kindness card given to you, take some time to look around and read a few stories of hope, kindness, and love. I hope that the kindness act you received brightened your day, and that it will inspire you to pass it on.

We all share and live in this crazy, wonderful world together. We must learn to treasure each stranger we meet on the street, as we are all facing our own battles. Accept and appreciate our differences and learn from one another’s experiences. Share love and kindness with your neighbor, and have hope for one another and our future.

It would be a great honor if you followed this blog by clicking on "follow" at the bottom of this page. Please take some time to look around, leave a comment, and be inspired. Thank you and God bless!

Kindness Cards

So you received a Kindness Card?...
How wonderful, if you are coming to this blog after receiving a kindness card from a friend, neighbor, family member, or perhaps even a complete stranger.  I pray that however you received the card, that it brightened your day and gave you a sense of hope for the kindness that is in this world.  I urge you to PLEASE continue to pay it forward by creating a moment of kindness and passing on the card so that these acts of love and kindness continue to spread around our neighborhood, our community, our state, and beyond (a few ideas are listed below, and more will be added as I receive emails from others!)
PLEASE take a moment to send an email to hopeforloveandkindness@gmail.com or leave a comment below to share your story of how you received a kindness card and how you plan on passing it on.  Your story may even be featured on the blog!! Thank you so much for your time and for creating a sense of hope in knowing we can create wonderful moments in our world.  God Bless!

Ideas to pass on your kindness cards:
Great or small, there are so many ways that you can pay it forward by passing on your kindness card.  If you are standing in line at the coffee shop, pay for the individual standing behind you, help someone carry their groceries to their car, volunteer at a local organization, donate items to an individual/charity, etc.  No matter how great or small, each act of kindness will mean the world to someone, and hopefully encourage them to continue the chain of acts of kindness.  I will be adding more ideas to this list as I get more emails coming in from individuals sharing their experiences and stories.  I hope that you will become a follower on this blog so that you will continue to stay inspired.

Want more kindness cards?...
So, if you would like to begin a chain of acts of kindness, please email me at hopeforloveandkindness@gmail.com with your mail address to have a pack of kindness cards sent to you! (I will be sending these cards out in packs of ten, so please feel free to specify if you would like more than ten)  Trust me, you really can make a difference!! Thank you so much!

How Kindness Cards got started:
Kindness cards...the idea came to me when I was at a local store the other day, and happened to look over to see a young boy standing at the candy aisle looking at all the prices and pulling pennies and nickels out of his pocket to count his change.  When I was paying for my items, the young boy came and stood in line behind me and explained to me that he was going to buy some candy for his long walk home.  I told him to put his candy up on the register, and that I would buy his candy for him.  The look on his face was priceless, and as I turned to walk out of the store, the young boy's response as he turned back around to go back into the store, was one that I will never forget:  "Thank you so much...I now have enough money to buy my mom a mother's day present"!  My heart was so full with happiness the rest of the evening, as I continued to think of this pay it forward story.  My mind was racing with ideas, as I began to think of a way to encourage all people to create moments of kindness for friends, family, neighbors, or even strangers, and then having them pay it forward to someone else.  I thought that these kindness cards would be a great way to keep the kindness going, and encourage people to check out this blog where they could read more inspiring stories and even share their stories of love and kindness!!

  1. Wow!!! What an amazing site!!! I'm feeling hopeful, inspired, and joyful! I was feeling so down today. I recently lost my job, and had spent all day filling out job applications. I was feeling so down, and stopped at the gas station to fill up my car with gas. I didn't have a lot of money, so I only put ten dollars worth in the tank. Even though I didn't really have enough money, I picked up a candy bar to give to my son, who had just had his last day of school. I was impatiently waiting in line, and when I finally got up to the counter to pay, the clerk informed me that my $10 gas and candy bar was payed for. As I stood in shock, a girl walked by me and handed me a "kindness card", and just told me to "pass it on". Although it may sound small, it was one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me. I plan to pass on the card by mowing my neigbhor's lawn for her. Once again, what an amazing, inspirational site.
